Available Forms & Surface Conditions:
Forms: Round Bar, Hexagonal Bar, Square Bar, Rectangular Bar.
Diameter Range: 3mm to 500mm (Round Bar).
Condition: Hot Rolled, Turned (Peeled), Centerless Ground, Polished.
Machining & Heat Treatment Guidance:
Machinability: Commercially pure grades (Gr1, Gr2) machine similarly to austenitic stainless steel. Gr5 Titanium Rod has lower machinability; it requires rigid setups, sharp tools, lower speeds, higher feed rates, and ample coolant.
Heat Treatment: Most titanium bars are supplied in the annealed condition. Gr5 can be solution treated and aged to achieve higher strengths. We provide recommended heat treatment cycles per AMS or customer specifications.
